During her tenure, annual revenue growth averaged 22.7 percent, while the organization expanded staffing and developed a workforce development department that positioned the Chamber for continued success.

During her tenure, annual revenue growth averaged 22.7%, while the organization expanded staffing and developed a workforce development department that positioned the Chamber for continued success.

Before her role at the Chamber, Carole served as Director of Strategic Partnerships for Business Publications Corporation and held several executive leadership positions from 2002 through 2017. Her work focused on business development, strategic partnerships, relationship management, and community engagement.

Community Impact

Carole has spent decades serving as one of Central Iowa's most respected community connectors. She founded or helped launch numerous initiatives, including the West Des Moines Leadership Academy, Community Connect, Rise Breakfast Club, and MoveHER.

Her service extends across numerous nonprofit and civic boards, including the West Des Moines Community Foundation, Microsoft Data Center Advisory Board, Metro Women Connect, and Women Lead Change.

Strategic Partnerships & Philanthropic Engagement

Carole's greatest strength is her ability to build meaningful relationships that create opportunities for organizations and communities. Her strategic partnership efforts generated millions of dollars in new business opportunities throughout her career.

She has played leadership roles in major fundraising and capital campaigns, including Dress for Success Des Moines and the $15 million capital campaign for St. Francis of Assisi. Her experience spans donor engagement, campaign strategy, volunteer mobilization, and community influence.
